2nd Press BLACK edition of 600
NOTE: LAST COPIES! These have SLIGHT CORNER BENDS on the LP jacket but are still sealed and MINT vinyl, grab a copy of this modern classic straight from the source!
The sophomore LP outing from the French breakthrough underground sensations, THE LIMINANAS, who are embarking on an even darker journey on this voyage into the stickiest, most vulnerable parts of your brain. After triumphantly completing their maiden US tour last year and proving to the world how effortlessly they capture their recorded essence in a live setting, they have returned with Crystal Anis, an LP brimming with perfect, humming, fuzz-filled effervescent pop so alluring and seductive in it's most intimate points that it's easy to get lost as the heavenly sounds rush over your soul. It's a perfect slice of modern French Ye-Ye gone underground, conjuring a dimly-lit atmosphere where the long lost transcendent sounds of The Factory intersperse with modern noir nuances to unbelievable effect. This is the Limiñanas hitting their compositional peak stride, with lush instrumentation, building on their signature thick-accented tension, all properly enveloped within their monumentally textured songwriting style. 'Heavenly' doesn't even begin to describe it, but it's a great place to start.

Such good healing energy on this album. Perfect for recovering from surgery. Thoughtful, plaintive, free of kitschy standard rock moves.
Probably still good without the surgery. ;) spencer_huggies
Let it be stated:
rock music needs more harmonies,
keys, and wild beauty.
(Fortunately, this one has it all!)

The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
"…the band's 2017 debut is full of punk and early' 80s post-punk references (there's the Marine Girls again) and filled to the brim with straight-up reverbed and jangly guitar indie-pop - which isn't complicated by too many chord changes - rib-crunching percussion and a healthy dose of psychedelic keyboards which add a touch of artiness… Add lashings of glorious harmonies and what's not to like here? ¡Magnífico!"
